no idea, but i did have a truck break a flexplate in a circle right around the bolts to the crank. so it is believable. otherwise this plus 5 speed swap ?

He doesn't make it sound like the transmission is out of the car so I'm betting that the slushbox just gave up, like every other stock SVX ever.
