There's a brown one with a southwestern motif interior at a local used-car lot. It's a decent 20-footer, but would take work to get it much nicer.
They also have a Corvair Monza Spyder Turbo...hard-top. Was that a thing or has someone done a rebadge?

Supposed to make it easier for back seat passengers to disembark curbside.

Wow, I never noticed that before.
There are so many, many things that one could ask "Why?" about when discussing a Pacer beyond the asymmetry of the doors.

A girl that I knew had one when we were in high school. It was the D/L model with a huge black stripe down the side on a yellow car. On one side, D/L was written backwards.
I actually had a friend that owned a Pacer wagon after graduating from college. He had owned a series of Rambler wagons in high school. I guess he was loyal.
i've had a rambler, but don't have it in me to own a pacer. except that 4x4 trucklet maybe in a different color.

I really thought you were about to tell me about a girl you knew in High School who was asymetrical.

I checked pretty closely and the only flaws that I could find were Pacer ownership and an overprotective step father.
