For what its worth the seller just bought this last week for around $800.

Saw the listing and spoke with the guy but it sold the next day.

As lame as that is, the car admittedly is STILL worth more than that. Can't blame the guy - though his pictures are awful.

I would think the wilwood+tilton setup plus the msd box would make up the cost of the car right off the bat. looks like a NICE deal

....and it's 1/2 way close to the challenge. You can build a 258 for $312 right?

No sense building another 258 when a 4.0 Liter H.O. from a Jeep fits right in. Either motor is basically free, and plentiful. Tons of Jeeps and AMCs out there that gave up the ghost before the motor was even close to done.

Of course you could also keep the 4.2 liter block and build a stroker....
