Laser II with trailer. Has sails. Good condition, just needs a wash. I can send you a photo. I just don't know how to post it.
* Location: Greenwich, CT
Aw man.... do want.
No space and many many many miles away.
I could fit it in but its a bit of a drive from Iowa. Someone go get it!
Love Laser IIs, flip one and you're wrapped in a mile of rope.

That's great motivation to improve your skills.
Flipping it is just part of the game!
(and one of the reasons the wife won't sail with me!
(AMF Zuma Owner ... Gotta get that thing outa storage!)
AMF Force Five here. Anything more than a gentle breeze has it moving so fast you really have to know what you're doing. I need a trailer for it. I need to revive an old hobby like I need....
Here's another free one, with a trailer, in Goshen CT, right down the road from Lime Rock.

A Laser II is child's play next to my Thistle....
but would love to jump on this deal.
You have a Thistle? Much respect! Now that is a proper sailboat.
My old boss (Chief of Neurosurgery) had a Thistle.
I remember our Force Five. When we moved to Williamsburg, I suddenly wasn't allowed to sail her anymore. Of course, we no longer lived a stone's throw from a lake, and the boat was no longer a quick carry to the water...

I crewed a Thistle for three years, wanna see the bruises on the back of my knees?
True story. Local husband and wife team race a Thistle. Wife ends up in the emergancy room for some random but not boat related issue. Husband dutifly is there at the hospital with wife. Without understanding really why at the time, the wife is taken to a sperate examining room - the husband is not welcome to join.
Husband is met by police officer in the hospital.
While is sperate rooms they are both questioned about her extensive bruising.
The suspicion was spousal abuse. The real answer was sailboat racing.
Are you trying to imply that sailboat racing is not spousal abuse?

I normally despise everything you type, Hess, but that was pretty damn funny
