I do not know much at all about Packards. My late father had one as his first car before going into the Army during the Korean War. I did say he loved the straight 8.

I think I saw something one time about a guy that lives in the plant and "protects" it. Kind of an interesting story...I wish they'd fix it up and turn it into affordable apartments or something.
