After a lot of thought I have decided to keep my X1/9. I have put so much work into it that it doesn't really make sense to sell it, and it is a lot of fun...anyways, it is missing both front and rear Fiat badges (round style). The $25 + shipping that people want for reproductions is insane, in my opinion. I am told that they are the same between 124 and X1/9. Somebody on here has to have a couple laying around; anyone? I will compensate you, of course, but I expect a much better deal than $25 per badge. They don't need to be concours-quality, either.

From what I understand, you don't need no stinkin' badges.

I might have a MR2 badge left around if you want to add confusion.

I need something that will fit into the round recess left by the original Fiat badge.

In reply to SlickDizzy:

whats the diameter of the recess? might be able to use a wheelcap sticker or steering wheel horn button sticker to go in there - and theres zillions of choices if thats the case....

or make one however you like, and stick it to a disc of cardboard for some thickness to fill the recess, and go with that....could be pretty cool. i'll post the modified roundels i had on my old 320i when i get home...maybe they'll inspire you

Round recess you say? How about some epoxy and the cap from your favorite bottled beer!

I'd fill it in and go without. The badges fade and fail quickly (which is why new ones are so expensive)

If you want, I still have a few parts from my old X-1/9 including a couple of Fiat key fobs, Grant horn button with a Fiat logo, a 1500cc motor, targa top, headlight buckets, a few interior parts, etc. Let me know if you're interested.
