Anyone interested in a Pop-Up?

The place I work offers these for rent to employees, very low rates. They are rentals, treated like rentals amd sold As-Is.

They are auctioning off two of them, both are Rockwell Freedom model, I don't know if more than one size is available, I'll walk down and look.

Last time they did this, they went for ~$300.

I have no interest, but if you guys do, I'll buy it and flip it.

Edit: Model 1640.

Step 2: buy cheap camper.

Step 2: buy cheap 4x4 truck

Step 3: take trailer apart and mount all the bits from it in the bed of the truck

Step 4: make new utility trailer out of camper frame

Step 5: profit

I would love one that is useable. trying to figure out a way to get it to Florida.

Yes, only because I have no need for one. Not very rough, they're just put away wet. I think a weekend with soap and water, some airing out, some WD-40 and it will be fine. I believe these are 2008 models.

I think SWMBO is interested, but a few concerns:

1) driving to/from NY to get it 2) can her Element tow it? (I think so, not the MR2 but probably this thing) 3) storage

"put away wet" likely means you have mold in the canvas. I don't; think soap and water will take that away.

I got a call from 914driver, he's out of town and has limited cell coverage. He didn't get either, one went for $1000 and the other for $1050.

"put away wet" is a colloquialism that doesn't necessarily involve water.
