Not sure if happy or sad this isn't closer. The idea of an Alfa V6 powered Yugo haunts me.

It would probably be easier to put the FWD package from a 164 into a Yugo -- in front or in back (or both? Ha, v-12 Yugo!) than to put in the Milano drivetrain in.

I know, "It would be easier..." isn't necessarily persuasive.

Well yes, that is my original plan, I even had a 164 and a Yugo next to each other for measurements, it's doable :)

But there is some definite appeal to going FR with a Yugo too.
