Since there seems to be a run on these lately, I have a blue, '90 that since I can't decide exactly what to do with it, I figured I would see if anyone was interested in it. 149k
Good:
NO RUST
current inspection
It runs and drives
timing belt/water pump done at 136k
Bad:
Automatic.....
Clear coat is peeling
Top has been repaired
Drivers window doesn't move (however you can push it up and down manually...)
I'm thinking $1500, it's worth at least that in parts not counting the straight, rust free early tub
Located in Waynesboro, VA
- yes it's pictured on a trailer, but it does run well, these are from the day I picked it up and are the best one's I have of it.......
And the million dollar question, where is the car located ? In or around VA?

Is the top actually usable?
Like for a several hundred mile road trip?

Sure is. It actually seals pretty well, it's just been repaired in a couple places....
I've seen the car, would consider buying it for my wife, but school is more important at the moment.
Have any use for an electric golf cart? :D
2003 SV650S with a "difficult" title + delivery to New Orleans? ;)

Nope, if I did I would just keep the Miata for that purpose

Under a strict no motorcycle restriction. I can either race my Spec Miata or have a bike...... I'd rather hit the wall with a cage around me....
Not really interested in trades other than for an envelope of cash.......
Figured it was worth a shot, since the inevitable sale of the SV is to support buying a beater Miata.
Surprised you haven't gotten a bite yet.

Location and time of year likely have much to do with those things.
just how bad is an automatic miata?

It's just like a regular 1.6l Miata, but slower and shifts for itself...... It's not so bad if you look at it as just a beater/commuter..... That being said, if I keep it, it will be getting a manual swapped in........
