Tedesco auctions is holding an auction this weekend in Mass at a defunct Chsysler dealership. Everything from two post lifts, welders, compressors, portable heaters, shelves, a '42 Willys (Featured in Today's Bring a Trailer), everything in the place has to go. Looks like bargins to be had.

IIRC there were some looking for such equipment, so here's your chance.

No affiliation, blah. blah, just looks like a good opportunity.

Seond look: shop truck, wrecker; multiple welders, tire mount machine, desks, laptop, cas register..looks like everyone walked out and left it all there. Duxbury, Mass. Link to the slide show: http://www.tedescoauctions.com/index.html

I kinda like the pics. Though the dust really hasn't settled, it's kinda of a unique look into what is essentially an abandoned business. Those Jeeps gotta be worth a few bucks, makes me wonder why the owner didn't take off with them.

They were probably on his floorplan, which was financed by the bank that's foreclosing. Yes, thinking of driving up to take a look. EVERYTHING is going in this auction. Stock up on nuts/bolts, cheap lap top, couple of manual, and look at the Caravan.

Promised the nephew a lession in driving a manual, sooo...

Agreed: Original parts manuals command good prices when need to sell, gold mine for future projects

This place was one of the biggest Jeep dealers believe it or not in Massachusetts at one point in time. Big in volume that is.They were famous for what we called the Duxbury Cadillac back in the 80's when they couldn't make enough Wagoneers for this small very affluent town. It is really one of the smallest dealers you will ever see,but they had crazy volume. Evryone in Duxbury had a Wagoneer,or if they didn't they wanted one. They have all but disappeared around these parts though, and it is cool to see one now,and remember when they were in every driveway.

Sign of the times I guess. I had no idea they closed down as I have not been there in many years. I remember the last few times I was there they had very little inventory, and had started offering new Suzuki's as well. If anyone around here 20 years ago would have said that Millbrook would be selling Suzuki's someday they would have been laughed at. I wonder if they have any Zuki stuff left over? I can't see the inventory on the site you linked, but I will try later when I get home.

Hey Triumph5,if you come up this way give me a ring, and we can maybe meet up. I live about 25 minutes away, and was thinking about going as well.

That's cool.

It's kinda like a little walk in time through how not to run a business in the 21st century.

Build your business like this, end like this.

But I'd love to have some of that stuff.

I will huddle with the nephew and see what he says--he has some pull, as he's leaving on deployment on the 16th. But, if I'm up there, you'll hear from me.

Still have the Mazda Repu?

Yep,and you are still welcome to drive it. Better yet teach the Nephew to drive on the REPU. I can't think of a cooler truck to learn on,but maybe I am a bit biased.

That red Jeep is a very early column shifter.

Wrong windshield, though.

Bet you can't tell from the photos which office was the owner's. Also, anybody want a shelf full of salesman awards?
