Very rare car. 80,000 original miles. This car is in good condition. It runs good and gets great gas mileage 30mpg. Just put 4 new tires on at the beginning of the summer. Call or text 740-644-4647
I've never seen one of these but it looks like just the kind of thing you (us?) wierdos would want.
Thats been for sale for a couple months at least. He may be willing to negotiate on the price.
Yiiiiiiiiiiiiiii dear lord that's an ugly car.
reminds me of a convertible Tempo :yuck:...but for some reason, I want to hoon around in it
You guys are all haters!
It's already got RX-7 wheels, an original professional convertible conversion, and is rwd so it's begging for a Turbo 13B or LSx swap.

I like it. I'm glad it isn't here and that I'm afraid to buy anything at the moment.

^ Of all the complaints that I'd have about a Tempo, the looks aren't close to the top of the list.
Too bad they didn't make that model 626 longer. You just don't see those around Ohio much and parts -at least body parts- are probably a bear to find...
...always liked the coupe...

Interesting, I never made a connection to the Tempo before.
Personally, I always thought these were a great looking body style and I lusted after them. I have to say, I am not crazy about the convertable version. I think there is a reason that all the pictures show the top down. With the top up, I bet the otherwise attractive lines out of proportion and are fairly ugly.
If I wanted a convertable of that vintage I would search out an '85 Celica GTS.
I remember these when they were new. It was almost seen as a "cheaper" or poor man's BMW.
Chopping the top does nothing for me though.....
