That is CHEAP for one of those. I just saw one on my local CL for $2000 that looked like swiss cheese - and it SOLD!
If that were local, I'd buy it as yard art for 6 months, put a for sale sign on the front, then sell it again as yard art for someone else that dreams to have an Alfa but only wants to look at one, not work on one.
There is probably an easy $2500 in parts there, or $50k in bodywork just to have a solid shell to pay someone to fix all the rust. You know its bad when you can see holes big enough to stick your finger through in a place where they dont even usually rust from just a small pic like that lol.
I'm local if anyone is seriously interested in buying it.
I love those cars. If I had the resources to build a vintage race car right now - I would start right there.

Most Italian cars can't promise that.

Man, I knew you guys were enablers, but damn.
If I had a way to tow it I would be down there to buy it. I was thinking a few days ago about flying out to California to buy a ratty runner and drive it back.
"C'mon," they said. "How bad could it be?," they said.
Someone go buy this! My old '73 is one of my favorite cars of all time. It's too near me and way too tempting!
