Local guy has one his grandparents kept in Florida. Tree fell on it, 86 the camper and made a flat bed.

Pretty sure he meant "86" as in "deep-6"...

Either way, you're right in that the pick-ups didn't get a V6 option until '88 (or '89?).

I saw that exact model here in the ghetto during work, it didn't look as good.
