I wonder if that's a factory hardtop? If so, that would be an evil start to an M2 car. At less than 5 feet wide, you could straighten out a bunch of slaloms.

I doubt anyone would try to dispute it and prove it isn't a factory hardtop.

This needs the motor out of my MX6 sitting in it.

Must. Not. Hack. Up. Daily. Driver.

Why, you don't want a dirt cheap Datsun roadster?

The ad doesn't mention it but I am going to assume it is a 1600 so I don't feel as bad that I can't buy it.

Although if I did buy it the drivetrain wouldn't matter much...I do have a spare 1.6L Miata engine sitting in the garage...

It's the lower windshield 1967 model. It will be a "1600" with a 4-speed. You will not find a 1967 "2000" for $500. All the hardtops were aftermarket items as I do not believe Nissan ever supplied the hardtops.

I too am drooling over this but some of the parts to old Datsun Roadsters are costly and a cheap model can cost you more to get running than a running $3,000 version.

It's a 1600. Cruise through this forum; GRM like folk with no hazing.
