I'm tall and it was uncomfortable, noisy, hot and in need of TLC. Started reworking car to my what I thought it should be. Restoring cars for my son, daughter, me and the wife got in the way. Time passed and there it sits. If you want an unusual, fast and well handling car that turns heads when it goes rumbling through the car show, this is it. If you want to see what a "Corv-8" is go to corvaircorsa.com and click on Corv-8 in the box at the end of the article. This Corvair has a 350ci V8, 4 speed transaxle, all the Crown conversion items installed except the engine cover, drum brakes, Holly double pumper. Absolutely no rust. $2000 obo

I wonder if it could be made to run for 10 bucks.......

The Crown kit itself is worth most the cost of admission...

For those interested but down south, an acquaintence in FL has an engineless Corwn Corvair for $1600. Sounds to be similar to this one in condition.

don't worry, i'm sure AussieSMG will buy it...

FWIW, i ran a crown v8 corvair at the $2004 challenge. This car has ridiculous challenge potential. paint like old-school SCCA Trans Am car, install stiffer springs and bigger bars, maybe a junkyard disc brake conversion for the front. it is pretty well documented that GRM hearts the corvair.
