For Sale! The most perfect car for The 24 Hours of LeMons race series.
This 1992 Ford Taurus SHO has all the desireable features for the race series.
1. Fast - often considered the most rugged of the SHO motors this car has the 3.2 liter V6
2. Cheap - $215 for a running SHO Wow!
3. No sun roof - Unlike most SHOs this one has no sun roof - this means: Lighter, Lower CG, safer!
Why so cheap you ask?
I got this car for the bumpers and some other parts. As such it still has all that is needed to make a fine race car or rail buggy.
She has no title but there is a paper trail showing her legitimacy.
-- Included: --
Fast Car
intact undented body
-- Not Included: --
rear bumper cover
front bumper & cover
wheels & tires
some interior parts
heater blend door actuator

Nice SHO alloy Wheels & tires are available separately. Remember that, for LeMons racing, Wheels & tires are considered safety equipment and thus are exempt from purchase price calculations.

I've got to believe that a SHO could do much better in Lemons if prepped correctly... I dunno. I don't have the resources to do it with a second car though, and I sure as hell am not going to replace the Amazon.

Never replace the amazon....but, a SHO powered Amazon...that would be special ;)
So, someone took the time to swap the 3.2 into a '92? For .2 liters more?
If anyone gets this and wants to put it back on the road, my local self serve yard has 3 of these on the lot. All complete and untouched.

Is that accurate?
4.2: Safety Equipment DOES NOT Count Toward $500 Total: Safety equipment described in Section 3 DOES NOT count toward the $500 total. "Safety" refers to things that can save the driver--not things that can save the car.
4.2.1: Beside the items and processes listed in Section 3, the following are considered safety-related and therefore exempt:
Wheels, tires, wheel bearings, and brake components

To be clear, they are talking about Lemons rules not GRM. Wheels and tires will still cost you for the Challenge.
