470k miles is a lot of miles, but on a Cummins?
With an asking price of $5,000 total for both truck and trailer, this seemed like a good deal that someone here might be interested in.
Just something I stumbled upon.
Claims to be in KS
105 gal tank and claims 17mpg w/trailer.

Hmmm that is tempting. Probably just sell the truck, and keep the trailer.
17mpg is no problem, 470K is not bad if regular maintenance has been done. With regular oil changes and clean air, the Cummins will go 750,000 miles before you need to think about maintenance. I would be worried about the transmission, has it been regularly serviced? Towing puts a lot of stress on them and the Dodge likes fresh clean fluid now and again.
Same goes for the rear axle. Has it ever been rebuilt? It's a strong Dana unit, but it should be re-packed every 200,000 or so if towing.
Ooops, its a dually. Not sure about the rear axle then, but even more important that it was serviced.
this does seem like a good deal. i just hope he treated his tow vehicle better than most of us.... what its towing usually gets all the money

wow...that is a steal. I wouldn't take close to that for my 95 dodge diesel dually with 20ft goose.
