LS swap candidate! :) that's not in too bad condition either! (alas, the girlfriend would literally run me over with it if I added another car to the driveway.)

im in the same boat with you, i say something about new seats for my Jetta and my girlfriend gets this crazy eye, scares me....
we are building a "garagepartment" across the street on a lot that I bought... I think once we have that, as long as everything fits in the garage, she won't care too much on what I spend my coinage on.
Got a response from the seller;
The car has been sitting for a few months... I bought it with a bad rear end, which I've since replaced. I then drove it a little and decided I was going to put a timing chain in it (since the original is a little noisy), put a new muffler on it, and see if I could find another drivers seat for it. The original has a hole in it. I haven't had time to even start on any of those things, and my priorities have now changed so I'm selling many of my project cars. I would consider it a project car. The body is incredibly straight, but the paint isn't so good.
yeah, an incredibly straight bodied 318 e30 is my next project car on the list... hopefully getting an s50/s52 :)
but that won't be for a year probably.
Do a built M42 with big cams and ITBs.
I wish I had the coin to do that to my m42 car. The S52 e30 put down 233whp, it's fun to say the least!
Yeah, it's on www.r3vlimited.com in the member's ride section.
