You know, I have seen this term C.O.E here a number of times but it was not until now that I knew what it ment.
We always just called them cab-overs. Hell, I spend a few years of my early 20's driving these miserable Fords hauling a 28ft Coca-Cola trailer around town. Wow, there is a vehicle that if i never see again it would not kill me.
I think Ford first sold these cabs in the 50's and up until the late '80's or early '90's you could still buy one new. New being a relative term.
