Milwaukee CL ad.

I spoke to the guy earlier asking about the Toyota parts. He's totally down on his luck and expects to be evicted soon. He would rather sell this stuff for something instead of having it all dumped on the lawn. He wanted $2,300 for all of the Toyota pieces as a lot. Much more if he broke them up individually. That included something like 6 RWD 5 speed transmissions, 4-18R-Gs, 1 - 3S-GTE, and a couple other engines (IIRC R family). He said that there was 8 or 9 side draft carbs included for that price.

If I wasn't so space limited I would be there now with a truck and trailer and pick up the lot. Dang.

My situation has changed. I am about to be evicted. I would rather sell everything that I own to someone who can use it rather than send it to the scrap.

This has been reposted locally for months and months and months now. I haven't been to look at the stuff myself (would for any interested party), but apparently the guy is just not willing to work on the price enough to move any of the stuff. I wonder what the cars look like. Lots of cool stuff, but I wonder about the real condition of it all.

He's not that interested in selling before scrapping at those prices.

What's a 1973 Gerstenschlager?

I found a reference to a Bookmobile mounted on an International Harvester Chassis manufactured by the Gertenschlager Company.

There were several companys that would take 18wheeler trailers cut the front off and add Van or flat nose glass in them and toss on a truck chasiss. Most were used as moving Vans. Kool as E36 M3 to see, there a guy by me with two slowly getting reclaimed by mother nauture...
