I had a 78 four door many moons ago. Other than the fact that it handled like a WW1 tank, it wasn't a bad car. Then the wife lunched the motor in it. That's one of the cars I wish I still had.

That is a zephyr. Vertical grille and the weird stuck on vents behind the door give it away. Fairmont Futuras had 4 lights. The box top or 2dr post models were 2 headlight deals. Also Zephyrs had horizontal taillights where the Fairmonts are vertical.

Isn't that an "f" Fairmont hood ornament? I dunno about the stick-on B-pillar "vents" but I've never seen a Zephyr without front fender vents. Vertical bar grill could have been swapped in, maybe the original got broken and a Zephyr grill was available.

Based on the lack of fender vents, and assuming this is the only photo available, I'm betting it's a Fairmont with a grill swap.
