hah, I nominated that for the awful CL photo thread! The point was raised, though, that if that guy can sit in that car and we can't see his feet under the rockers, it proves it has solid floors.
I kinda feel sorry for the sick guy.........I live 10 minutes from Plainfield and it looks to be quite green for February in the Chicago 'burbs

The floors aren't the worry on these. The X "frame" under them is almost certainly swiss cheese by now.
I think he has a highly optimistic opinion of its value. Last one of these I had in this condition was given to me free.
And this one cost me $300 running.
Fully restored that car might be lucky to approach 4-5k

He thought it had trouble running and couldn't get it started the day we went to pick it up, this is true. I still wouldn't have paid more than $700 or so for it though :)
