Actually they were offered in VW pan version or with a factory tube frame set up to take corvair suspension and drivetrain. But either that one is missing the tube frame or its a VW model.
this is where one of those clapped out 84 corvettes comes into play for the chassis?
that's how i'd go anyway.
I'd go for VW pan and a Subaru engine. It's already got a grill opening for a radiator, so it's kind of almost done...
