I friend of the family has had her ex-husband's fiat rusting away for about 15 years and she's tired of looking at it. When she offered I got all excited about restoring it, but its in worse condition than I could get myself to imagine. Think of the worst possible scenario and then imagine worse and you're getting close. Its sunk into the ground to the floor (if there's a floor under the soggy carpet), every panel is too rusted to save, the doors open and close but the chassis is so saggy that they don't want to.
