I'm actually not entirely sure, the engine is a remnant of my boss's old business, he used to do Z cars in a big way, now he's moved into bmw's.
what in the world? I am sitting is a hotel south of Cinci in Kentucky and am heading to Columbus tomorrow afternoon.
pete...........come get me..........280Z engine........
I made it to Columbus after 6:00pm. I am NOT going to be able to throw this in the back of my Trailblazer and drive home. Thanks anyway......
Pete.................you already have a spare 2400cc engine block............and a spare 280Z engine in parts in your basement and garage sitting around........................your wife is going to be pissed..................but what else is new?
I have a friend who may be interested and can pick up. He's kind of a purist and wanted to keep his 240z a 2.4l but I may be able to change his mind.
Plus he's about to drive my bridge ported 13B engined RX-7. I got over being a purist quite some time ago...
Not if you add enough chrome John, if you gold plate all the bolt heads it idles like this:
Bizz-nizzle-shim-tizzle-gim-gim-gizzle.
Don't even ask about anodized aluminum... it gets way crazy.
Appreciate it, would love to have those few square feet back so I can fill them with more current parts.
I told my friend about it and he's all, hmm, i don't know if I want to spend that kind of money. Hey look an Impulse six states away for $2500, perfect another car that I can sit and look at because it doesn't run!
(PS - I know he's reading this.)
