Hmm. This could be a great start for a race car, or a Lemons/Chump Car or maybe even a Challenge car.

To pricey for Lemons / Chump.
Only 1000 miles and $1000 keeping me off this. DO WANT.
What happened to the motor and trans?
I don't think it's too pricey for Lemons/Chump. Separate receipts. One for the car and another for the cage. Safety items don't count in those budgets. In fact, I bet that cage was close to $1500 to put it!
oh my god 1500! thats a deal for a challenger to use as a track car afterwards. separate receipt it and put a great engine in. 2gr swap?=] b series honda swap? hell, you could maybe find a k series.
Ahhh.. I was doing my accounting wrong.
I've been racing in CFR for 20 years, and I never remember seeing that car at any event.

"SSC National Champion in 2000 and 2001"
SSC Champion in 2000 was a Neon and 2001 was a Protege.
Kramer's SC2 did win in 2003.
It could have won an "SSC National" event, just not the runoffs. Since half of the SCCA's weekends are National events, if this car won one of them, it's a "National" winner. Stupid semantics...
