Parting the Escort?
Yep. Need to simplify. Not killing me or ruining my life not having autocrossed in the last 2 years, and SWMBO isn't likely to be able to take off race days anytime soon. I wouldn't have built this car just for me.
Parting the Escort will help fund Gaijin Garbage.
I hear ya. Shame it never got to run, it woulda been a killer- but it's probably time to quit dumping cash into it.
Parting out the entire car? Or just he engine? Our Protege is getting tired in a number of ways.
The entire thing, but i don't really have the capacity at the moment to tear the Escort down. That'll be in a couple months. Not much of the car is daily driver friendly, though. (Apologies if that's a gross mis-read of what you use your Protege for.)
Suppose i should mention that the pistons are .020" over. Probably important information.
