Dave (WiblerM3), BUY THIS.
If it could make it to Florida, race, and make it back, it should be good enough for a daily driver.
Will you deliver for that price?
If it was automatic I'd totally buy it for my wife.

Is he still looking for a car? Taking longer then I did to make up his mind...
I still drive it anywhere without hesitation (recent 700 mile roadtrip even), but it would some real tlc to make it back to the track...

If it was an automatic I would have totally broken it by now .
This is not the car to try to teach a loved one with, almost ruined my life...
Tell me again how much of the interior you still have? I'd like to have a back seat and door skins back on it if I DDed it.

The seats and door skins are still here and in pretty good shape but with the occasional tear or scrape. I still have the hardware to reinstall it all but some pieces were sold or just broken.
Missing are:
rear carpet
rear interior c-pillar covers
rear seatbelts (might have center belt but shoulder belts were broken)
Also, I am not sure if the central locking actually works the rear doors but I do have another switch panel and nothing was cut or butchered during removal. The rear window motors and tracks would need to be reinstalled but they worked well before removal.
I think that is all; I will edit and note if I think of anything else

I want another one of these so badly, but i'm not sure if it's really the right time.
Let me talk with SWMBO. This was one of the cars that came up in my recent "What's a good car to drive around the entire continent in" thread, and that's a trip that's going to happen summer of 2013.
Is this still available? I've been on the hunt for another Saab for a little while (though I've been wanting another 900, I can make exceptions). Think it'd make it the nearly 700 mile road trip to central Virginia?

Yes, I still have the car. Yes, I imagine that it would make the trip to Virginia without incident. I use it the most for long highway trips because it beats my other cars by around 10mpg.
I have noticed a pinhole leak in the mountain of goop on the exhaust manifold. It will need attention in the near future but it certainly isn't a major issue at the moment. Price is not firm, I am listening to any offers...

SWMBO really wants this car out of the back yard.
is $600 for a running, driving car and plenty of extras too much?
Gah. It's a distance thing for me.
Basically the only things that would likely need attention soon-ish are the radiator and the exhaust manifold gasket?
I will ask my SWMBO again... not going to promise anything or even say it's likely, but i can't not ask at that price.
Are there performance differences between the CSE and the Aero? I was looking for another Aero, don't know much about the CSE.

$600 is definitely not too much. If I had any even moderately justifyable need for this car the deal would be done. I've seen it in person, it's worth it.
Hmmm....maybe I can think of a reason.....
Car is in MA currently?

Mostly radiator and eaxhaust mani, yes
Iirc big difference was springs and gt25 for cse vs. Tdo4 for aero.

Any decent bolt-up performance turbo options for the CSE?

I am not really sure, though I do not think that there are a ton. I suppose it depends on your intended performance level.
I have really come to like the small gt25 for the instant response. I think the 16g in my eclipse is as large as I would want on a 2 liter and I thought the t28 on my 2.2 liter dodge was overkill, but everyone is different...The guys in europe use holsets and make 600-700 hp but I never looked into it since I had no interest.

The half a tank of gas isnt a problem, its finding the 6 or 7 hours (round trip) plus a co-driver. But let me mull this over. Any idea what the MA take on temporary tags is? I think if I recall correctly they dont issue them.
Man, I wid you were closer to me.

no temp tags. the way it was recommended to me if its a registered car is to just drive it back and mail back plates to seller.

Spirit Airlines from Atlantic City to Boston is only an hour flight and usually less then $100
