How much do kidneys go for again? 'Cause that's almost worth a spare kidney to me...almost.

Wow that's cool.

Do you....leave it alone, V8-it, or maybe some kind of Cosworth clone, with a modern twin-cam, (Miata?) .

Why cosworth clone? Get a Duratec/MZR and get a real Cossie valve cover. Did people ever split the front bumper on those cars (ala Ford Capri RS or similar)

As much as I hated my 72 Vega, I would buy that if it was a lot closer and passed the rust inspection).

I remember seeing them with Camaro RS style front bumperettes. Not sure if they were factory or not.

There was a Cossie engined Vega coupe.

Does that wagon qualify for the "shooting brake" thread? Very cool lines.

There's a Cosworth Vega sitting on a trailer around the corner from my house, but it looks like it's engine is missing.

Of course, a Cosworth Vega without the Cosworth is just a Vega.

Yeah but then you have to deal with the cossie vega's engine. I thought those engines had some design faults and had a higher than normal failure rate.

The regular Vega had higher than normal failure rate. I don't know if the Cossie was a reliability improvement or not. Coolness improvement for sure.

I suppose we could just bench race with a DFV cossie in there and be done with it .
