1969 Triumph GT6+ for sale or trade Best Offer - $1750 (Guilford, CT) Date: 2012-06-25, 1:46PM EDT Reply to: d4bdn-3100247517@sale.craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] Bought as project for restoration- currently stripped and disassembled. Complete car, Engine Gasket Set, Extra transmission, extra wheels, extra set of seats. Needs floor welding, wheel arches. Frame is in good shape. I have documentation on the build from the factory records. Lots of work done to initiate restoration (stripped and sanded). Best offer by week's end.

GT6+ is a phenomenal car-small and light and fast. Will trade for early Porsche 911 project in any state of repair, or early triumph motorcycle in any state of repair, or running spitfire that needs TLC....Call in the 203 area 8856884 with any questions. (Oh, and car was originally dark navy blue with light blue interior-I have the original color door covers to match)...

Damn, I sold a complete, running Mk3 a few years ago in easily that good condition for $500....

wonder how much my GT6+ would fetch with all its fiberglass panels, fiberglass floor, great-condition drivetrain and suspension, and redone interior with custom dash.

Probably $1000

Way back in 1971, my cousin had one of these, either brand new or nearly brand new. SHE had traded a '56 Dodge that just got her through college before expiring to terminal rust. I drove the car for a few miles at their rural Pa. home and had a ball. I barely fit in it then, nowadays there is no way I'd fit my extra 50-55 pounds behind the wheel.

Another thing I remember? How gigantic it made my '68 Mercury Cyclone look when it was parked side by side with her GT6+..
