I wish I had a use for them, but realistically, if I bought them I could either drive to work on them or watch them dry rot in my garage.

Those wheels would fit on my Ranger. Of course 245 section Hohos on an ill handling '94 minitruck seems like a terrible idea so probably not for me either. One of you Mustang types should grab them.

Speaking of which, looks like the date code on the tires is 5 years ago...
In R-comp land, thats pretty much "round, black, and holds air"
Given that he took a pic of the date code, I'd say the buyer knows he is selling wheels for $50 apiece that happen to have round black things surrounding them.

I have questions about that. I know that in the world of A6 and A7 Hoosiers for autoX purposes freshness is king as the tires never get a real chance to warm up. But for someone wanting sticky tires to destroy on track days with 20+ minutes sessions would being an older R6 be that much worse than new (assuming proper storage and no freezing).
I have NOT track day on old R-comps. I have auto-x'd old V700 Victoracers, Old V710's, and Old A6's and compared to fresh ones they are much more unpredictable.
Just thinking about relying on them on a track with barriers (and a spin means an impact) gives me the willies.
