I would be interested in the shell minus eng trans and rear. But I'd have to sell/trade our MGB shell to make it work for us. I'd also have to get the team to buy into the idea, although I dont see them complaining much.

What 4 speed is fitted?
How did you find a bellhousing?
What is the clutch and flywheel combo? Is it completed?
Do you have the computer and wiring harness?
Do you have the engine's origins? ie: Bonneville and year
Is the rear end 4 link, original leaf springs and details on shocks/spring combo if applicable?
Is the 8.8 a posi and is it disc brake?
Do you have a radiator?

the simple answer to half your questions is that the engine is from a thunderbird and looks like a stock 5 speed from the same super coupe.

Don't be so sure...I like the MGB a lot, you would really have to try to talk me out of it as our new LeMons car.
My offer to buy the whole IRS w/ LSD was sincere... (got relegated to last post on previous page) if you are parting.
If the whole thing was secured on a trailer when I got there... I could drag it as far as my place (Scranton, PA) to help save the buyer the last 6hrs of round trip if the timing worked such that it wouldn't be blocking my driveway for too long.

Yes, it's compete and moderately new. Do you have the computer and wiring harness? Yes. Do you have the engine's origins? ie: Bonneville and year 1994 Thunderbird Supercoupe. Is the rear end 4 link, original leaf springs and details on shocks/spring combo if applicable? Cortina leaf springs, Ford 8.8 posi, underspring swap. Is the 8.8 a posi and is it disc brake? Posi with drums, new shoes & springs. Do you have a radiator? I have the Supercoupoe radiator, fits well.

EDIT:
Scratch that. I thought it had the t-bird IRS. DOH.

Well... I don't really know.
Track width same or slightly wider than an E30 (close enough for wheel offset to compensate... wheel flares OK, deep dishes... not so much ).
Needs to have an LSD either with it or that bolts right up in place.
a good range of gearing available - something close to 3:48 to 3:64 ideal
"cassette type" like a t-bird or miata. Basically slide under, position, weld... done.
decent geometry for a road racing application.
easy to replace rubber with nylon or steel ball
cheap
strong enough for 400 ft/lbs
I've got a complete IRS (hub-hub including brakes, suspension, diff, and carrier) from a 1986 (?) Supra.
Interested??

Let me google a bit for specs & info... I might be.
SVreX... is there any chance I could get a pic or two of that Supra IRS and the measurement from rotor face to rotor face? Also, is the LSD healthy and what is the final drive?
In reply to SVreX:
i thought there was a complete IRS (i dont know from what, and i'm somewhat new to the boards to recall) that had been sold to and from like 5 different GRM'ers for possible projects.
This one has not moved around. I've owned it since it came of the Supra. I've offered it for sale several times, but no takers.

Wasn't that the Northstar? I seem to remember an IRS as well though.

What are you guys taking inventory or something?? You sound like my wife!
The N* got around like a $2 whore. The IRS has been doing nothing but taking up floor space in my shop for years.
