If that, um, "strut tower brace" (?) is indicative of the general level of engineering, at least it should break before it can hurt anybody.

I'm less inclined to think it's meant as a strut tower brace. More likely its meant to tie the 2 fenders together since the core support seems to have been hacked away for a larger radiator.
Still not a high quality job, but functional for the purpose.

not wrong, just crazy...but crazy seems to come in spades around here, and is pretty much the common denominator
That would make a decent drift car, I doubt very much that can turn any other way if your foot is on the loud pedal.
