If anyone ends up with this, I have some very detailed service records that you're welcome to. The drivetrain is in great shape. There's also a Schroth ASM 3 point harness in there that's only about a year old.
I don't know what the extent of the suspension damage is, or if the frame is tweaked at all. I managed to catch the car I hit directly with the front right wheel, from what I can tell.

Finding out what the buyback is right now if anyone is interested.
If you have the time and the means, you will likely make a ton buying it back and parting it out.
Tons of focus people love the seats, gauge pods, rear brakes, bumper covers, engines, trans, etc.
I'd love to, and I'm sure I'd make money, but have no garage. And with 4 cars plus a motorcycle already in my driveway, parting out the focus may test the patience of my neighbors just a little too much.
Assuming I get the bank to agree to it, it would only cost me $200 to retain the car. If there's anyone interested in any parts off it, I might consider it, even though I don't really have the space. That's a lot cheaper than I was expecting.
Wish I still had my old focus, I always wanted some svt seats. They used to go for a lot on the forums.
If the seats are black or grey I would be interested.
Dang. Wish you were closer. I part them out and would snatch it up in a New York minute if you were a reasonable driving distance away.
Headlights are $300 all day. Front bumper is $350. Cylinder head $500.

Just curious is that for the hid headlights or the black housing regular ones?
HIDs. The black housing SVT lights are throw aways.

Did you drive it after the crash? Is it a viable fix and flip for you? Seems like if the wheel alignment is ok and the doors seal, it should bring a grand on CL?
The doors are OK, the passenger side front suspension is demolished though. It's not driveable. I'm going to see if I can get it and see if anything structural is bent or if it's just the control arms that need to be replaced. I don't really care what it looks like, so if I could drive it through winter with just a suspension replacement I'd do it.
In reply to cmcgregor:
I hit a curb nearly straight-on with the RF corner of my 96 probe gt, at about 40mph. Bent the LCA so badly the tire was against the rear of the wheelwell, and broke the coil spring. Replaced those two parts and that was all it needed. I bet the focus is similar. That's where I'd start, anyway.

Got ya, I remember people on focal jet and focus fanatics asking like 6-800 for them back in the day. So that doesn't seem bad at all
Auction is finally going live on this. Let me know if you end up with it, I have a very thorough maintenance history and a bunch of spares for it that I haven't had the time to go through and catalog yet.
Wish I had the time and space to have bought it back. The insurance was going to give it to me for $200, but my driveway is full. I am enjoying the Focus ST I replaced it with, but I think it would make a good rallycar starting point.

What kinds of fees are associated with the auction? Dealers license required?
I want, but don't need this
I believe in MA you do need a dealer's license, but I'm not sure. Don't know anything about fees.
