the only enclosed trailer i have is a 2002ish haulmark heavy duty 14' 6" with 8 lug 5000# torsion axles.

it's one of those in between sizes where it's kinda really big for daily work but too small for cars unless you plan on only towing a miata around.

What is the top speed. is it feasible for a cross-country drive?

It will run highway speeds but you are peddling hard Engine only ru.s to 4000 rpm by design.

I drive it at 60 all the time.
