Sooo, the person who bought this can't figure out how to start to diagnose the no start? Hey, if you can't work on cars, you should probably buy this mega project.
I'd be very interested in getting a celica 2zz up front to match the hood. twin motor all-trac anyone?
It'd need to be about a $400 buy in for me though.
I think both of those cars are attractive, and in coming years I expect this generation of Celica to become an iconic design, but who the berkeley in the whole entire world ever thought the angular Celica front clip would be a good candidate to graft onto the flowing curves of an MR2??!?!??
He's also got this, which may/may not be the car without the rear end in the pictures for the celica conversion.

I'm beginning to question whether the originator of this monstrosity was a design-school dropout, or professor?
1, I'm trying to figure out why someone would do that to an MR2.
2, I'm trying to figure out why I think it's kinda cool.
