that's a sweet truck. although from the sounds of "its got a 3.90 in the rear, don't know whats in the front" the transfer case may be toast.

It is a bit of a hike or I'd go and see it. If it got better than single digit gas mileage, it would be a nifty project. It looks like it has all of the important improvements, like front disk brakes, by that time.

If Wiki is to be trusted, the wheelbase is probably 120 inches. An XJ is 101.4 and a Grand Cherokee is 105.9 up to model year 2004. It might improve the truck to put in later running gear.

Probably a 3.90 up front as well......I am unsure as to why it has a 3 speed though, should be a 4 speed.

Either way, decent looking truck so long as it isn't half bondo.

I've seen 70's versions with the t15 three speed I guess it is possible.
