Some of you may remember that I have the carcass of a '95 Kawasaki Concours sitting around. I dumped it two years ago and sold off the bits that other Connie owners wanted but am left with the steel frame and motor/transmission. It ran really well the day we went down and was still idling in the ditch when we came to a stop.
My idea was to turn the motor into something Formula 1000 style for autocross domination but between a general lack of skills and funds it hasn't born any fruit. So I'm offering it to you all, any reasonable offer or slightly interesting trade welcome.
Just to make it clear, it's a running when wrecked 110 hp motor with integrated 6 speed trans and a shaft drive output. Surely one of you can make that into a four wheeled thrill ride (10,000 rpm redline anyone?)
Hey, I'm interested. Any pics? Preferred method of contact?

Is the shaft drive on the left side of the bike? If so, it will turn the wrong way for a standard rear end. I have spent way too much time on the Locost boards.
I love the idea though. I have a Triumph 955 three pot out for the same purpose but now I am just rebuilding the bike.
OOOoooo, mount it with the shaft facing forward over the diff input and a chain to the input. Spins the right way and should stack up decently for a shorter overall package.
I've always wondered what would happen if you hooked something like this up to a CVT.

Craziness..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEoj5u9WGvY
The shaft drive is on the left side.
Robbie, email sent.
Self serving bump. Anyone want this for their winter project?

$50 on any local Craigslist.
Scrap the plastic and make it a naked bike?
What's left of the bike?
It's down to stripped handlebars, no seat, no plastics anywhere, bent forks, bent front wheel, broken rear wheel. I went down hard the bike went down and into an oncoming caddy (hence the rear wheel).
And pinchvalve: 110 hp might need just a skosh more structural integrity than that.
Bump. Not a lot of hope, but bump nonetheless....
