For sale, one Kelmark GT fiberglass body. The Kelmark GT is a kit car designed for Volkswagen (VW) or Corvair running gear. It's a lightweight fiberglass body, designed to be a cross between a Ferrari Dino and a Ford GT40. This Kelmark GT body is made for Volkswagen running gear, and will bolt straight to any standard Beetle chassis. The Kelmark body itself is in acceptable but not amazing condition. There's a softball sized hole in the front passenger fender, some cracking to the fiberglass in the nose and the skim body filler used in original paint/assembly has cracked in places and will require work. The glass is all there, though some pieces are cracked. The gauges are all there. Body rubber is all there, but it's in poor shape and is not watertight - I keep the car under a cover. The awesome slotted wheels (pictured) are included with the car, and do have rubber on them but it needs to be replaced. I've got a cheat-sheet for the Kelmark which tells you which cars the bits and pieces originally came from - Caprice and Mustang II glass, etc. for anything you'd like to replace. So, here's what you get: * Kelmark GT body complete with fuel tank, color-matched slotted wheels, all gauges and glass * IRS Beetle chassis with clear "Kelmark" title and correct body VIN. Should be no trouble registering the car. Very rusty floor pans but otherwise straight and serviceable. You will need a trailer to take this home. It is not a driver. It is not a roller.
