I am not associated with this, but the price seemed very GRM. Somebody should pick this up just to be funny...

We had one when I was a kid (my Dad, the AMC guy, bought it right after the AMC/Renault merger) - it became known as Le RustBucket after it started rusting away early in its life.
Unless its a complete POS, the price is either missing a 0 or its gone already. They normally go for $4-5k here.
If you seriously know someone who is going to pay 4 to 5 grand for a Le Car I'm sure I can put them in contact with my garagemate to purchase his. Both of his were purchased off of this board for a grand each. I'm sure he'd love to make 8 grand for his investment in the finest of French automotive offerings.
Idk if anyone would really pay that much, but when i see them posted here thats what the people are normally asking, and they usually arent there more than a couple weeks.
I would GLADLY sell both of mine along with a whole mess of parts for $5000. I can't believe anyone pays more than $2k tops for one of these, and I would think that would have to be in minty fresh condition.

I understand that you may have a couple of R5s for sale; details when you have a moment.
I sold one that was only 5 years old and with 12,000 miles on it to a dealer for $400 and he later accused me of ripping him off...
