I know these are all cheap parts that I could order, but might as well check here first...
-
rear ebrake actuator....the little double-jointed thing inside the rear hub that actuates the ebrake. Need the pin that holds the two pieces together too.
-
rear brake pads with reasonable life left on them for an e30 (disc brake rear).
-
one of the little studs at the top of the front strut tower.....where the top of the strut assembly bolts into the strut tower. They press out of the upper strut mount with a vise.
-
tie rod end (right side, not sure if they're different) in functional shape.
-
front endlinks in functional shape.
-
(longshot) - rear CV axle for a small-case diff, with good joints (not worried about boot condition).
let me know!
I can hook you up with damn near new #2 if it is worth a free set to pay the shipping to you from 18411.
I have two (2) front stabilizer bar end links, new-in-box, that you can have for shipping and maybe a token payment (six pack value).
I think they are for the e-30 M3 and early e36, but if they will fit your application, PM your address.
Part # 31-35-1-134-582
I've got the strut mount stud you need, and if for some reason you don't want those sway bar end links I'll take them!

Fine w/me. Give Irish a day or two to respond, otherwise they're yours.
Thanks guys - I think the M3 endlinks are a different fitament (the attach to the strut, not the LCA as I recall), so they're up for grabs to Corey. I'll take that little stud in payment for letting you have 'em!
For the other two, will send PMs momentarily.
Damn I love this place.....

I can't get into your profile! Shoot me an email at irish44j at yahoo.com. Definitely worth the shipping!
also I have various random e30 parts sitting around, so if you're looking for something that might have been on an '85 318i, let me know!
I might have an axle. They are from a 91 318is.

I'll trade you two sets of pads for the 1.8L four banger

I almost thought you were serious, considering I do have a spare M10 longblock in unknown condition......

MrHappy might be my new name if that's the case!
I do need to check if those axles would work on my '85 though. Both small-case diffs, but I have this foggy memory about something regarding different output flanges or something (and also whether or not the ABS axle works on a non-ABS car).

Well... now I might be ;)
I was serious about the brakes. If you need stock E30 pads I have a full set of Jurids (front and rear) you can have - they are almost brand new. I had just installed them when the car got wrecked and it became a race car.
I just shipped back my extra rod ends I used to make endlinks...
I have the cheapos I replaced, the rubber is a bit thrashed, but the balljoint ends are good. Boots are torn...I should also have the strut mount studs.

yeah would love the pads. My fronts are ok for the moment, but no clue what they are. Rears I have none (since I switched from drums) so I'd gladly take them all off your hands. Eventually I'll buy some good performance pads, but for the time being I just want to get the car on the road so I can work out everything on it!
shoot me a paypal address and I'll send you some cash, let me know how much you want.

definitely, I won't turn down cheap/free stuff, even if only for temporary use. Same as with Purple, shoot me a paypal and I'll send some cash.
btw, you still autocross with CDC? I haven't been out with them in a couple years, but might be a good chance to test-n-tune the e30 in the spring. I still remember your wagon from like 5-6 years ago when I was running the Maxima.....you made me feel better not being the biggest land-yacht in grid. And you beat my buddy in his Miata, which he will never live down!
Sorry, I totally forgot about this thread. Send me your address and I'll mail off a few of those studs if you still need them.

Don't need any money for the stuff. I'm in DC until 11pm most days if you want to pick the stuff up.
I did 2 auto-x's with CDC this year, but before that it had been 3 years. The wagon has some issues I haven't been able to rectify. I talked to Ed Chan a few weeks ago and he was asking about it also. The wagon still gets a lot of mention.
The boots are in good shape.

cool, I may have a line on something that might work for the endlinks (we'll see), but if not I'll touch base with you. Next week I'll need to kill like 4 hours in the evening in DC (have a late-night VTC at work), so that could work out.

cool, I'm going to find out if the axles will work with my flanges!
