Bet it's someones long term love/project but pressure is being applied by a significant other and they don't really want to sell, hence write the E36 M3tiest ad possible and hope no one responds.
In my hometown if someone's interested, but I have WAYY too many projects in the pipeline right now.
I would love to see some overall pictures of that build. WS is about halfway between my house and my parents... Hmmm...
Interesting! Does anyone know anything about the front suspension arms? Reason I ask is my first locost 7 bike engined car is currently for sale on the locost forums now. (I'm not the owner seller) and the car is wearing what looks like those very same front arms. Just curious if someone was building them to sell like this, or if there is a trend/reason behind this style/design of arm, vs the traditional round tube?
Thanks
Paul
Look like the ones that Jack at Kinetic Motorsports is offering. They're easier to adjust for caster, I can tell you that, and you can be a bit sloppier in your fabrication.
An actual A is a royal pain when it comes time to adjust, as the distance between the two chassis mounting points changes and so you spend all your time with carefully selected shims. Mine were not built in a smart way.
