Mazda parts/engines, VERY challenge friendly

Alright, i need these things out of my garage.

Joey has "dibs" on the Escort motor if he still wants it.

1) Mazda BP 1.8 DOHC out of a 1993 Escort GT. $100

Motor has high miles. Either 185k or 285k. Ran pretty well, made good power. It DOES have 1 known problem: Secondary IACV leaked. Eliminate it and loop it.

Various leaks, could use a good cleaning.

Includes manifolds, ecu, wiring harness, injectors, fuel rail, alternator, power steering pump, starter, etc etc etc. Includes transmission, has a good clutch in it with 20k miles on it at most, includes mounts, radiator, shift linkage, crossmember if you want it.

Basically... everything.

For $25 extra, you can have a brand new radiator with it.

2) Mazda K8 1.8 litre V6 - $50

80k original miles. This is pretty much a short block. Ran great. Complete bottom end, heads, oil pan, intake manifold, throttle body. Does NOT have valve covers or exhaust manifolds.

3) Full set of Escort GT/Escort LX-E/Protege LX/Tracer LT-S poly filled motor/trans mounts. - $40

4) Set of Mazdaspeed Miata stock injectors - $50

5) Full set of headlights, corner lights, taillights for Mazda MX3, good shape. - $30

Make an offer, insult me if you want. I'll ship items 3 and 4, will not ship 1 or two. I need the engines out of my garage asap. Responses with lowballing, asking "can i put it on my tab?" payment plans etc... ALL ENCOURAGED.

I'm not sure if i can really deliver all this. it was rough enough getting one engine in the back of the Cherokee, let alone two.

But really... i have 4 engines, a transmission, steering column, and a motorcycle behind the Escort, and another motor and transmission i need to pick up.

Layaway is encouraged if it gets this out of my garage.

The EGT valve cover should work, yes. It just comes... attached to a motor.

Ok, seriously... i could make a lot more money parting this stuff out, but i need space far more than i need money.

I know where there's a crusty festy that you can use, and I guarantee the owner will let it go cheap. Even has a sweet paintjob! Only one problem it's in MN.

If I had any Ford/ Mazda products which could use these I would be all over it.

whats the specs on the injectors? like what LB?

High impedance, 265cc, but reportedly handle higher pressures better, and with the increased rail pressure on the late NBs, flow more like 300cc in that application.

What are you looking for? I think i have like... LOTS more injectors around here. Should have a set of Supra 440s, at least one set of RX7 460s, think some other Mazda 270s?

Who wants the K8? Someone has got to have some nefarious plans for it. I was going to slap some high comp slugs, cams, and ITBs in/on it and dump it in a Miata if i kept it, but i no longer have the space.

How do you dump it in a Miata? What gearbox do you use?

If I had anyway to come get it, I would totally take it and dump it at my parents house for a while.

nah. Ill pass out if i see my blood. haha. now to find hubs and axles...

If you're cool with re-packing the tripod joints and throwing new boots over them, the axles can come with. I separated them to get the engine out of the car because it was easier than dealing with a slide hammer trying to get them out of the trans. They looked fine, otherwise. Just a matter of whether or not you want to mess with that grease to re-pack. Think boot kits are like... $10?

I have to use MX3 axles on the car for the build.

LX hubs are compatible with EGT axles, by the way. The only reason to change hubs if you already have LX hubs is for the bigger EGT brakes.

Which speaking of... i'll send you on your way with a set of EGT brake discs if that's your plan. Just need to be turned, only 10,000 miles old.
