Never seen an MG, but Austin had a model that looked like that.

Austin had different grill but otherwise was the same. I had both at one time. My brother in-law who's from Ireland said his dad had same car but was Van-de-plas badge... Luxury version.
Mine had hydro-elastic supention....basicaly air bags but filled with Anti-frezze and 100psi charge.
