SOLD Thanks Guys
Wow! I wish I knew for certain whether this would clear the Hard Dog Hard Core bar. Can anyone confirm/deny?
IIRC, it will clear the bar, but the bar will interfere with the side latches. Bolt-in plates will remedy this.

Grafmiata nailed it, Flyin Miata says so as well.
Yep, the side latches are in the way. I dont even use the side latches though. Just the front along with the frankestein bolts out back will do.

Hey Fritzsch nice meeting you this weekend. Best of luck with your move man.

I have a Hard Dog Harcore bar in my Miata and my hardtop most definitely did not fit over it. I know it has been done plenty of times, but it really must vary from car to car. I was physically able to get the hardtop on, but both corners of the roll bar were pressed into it. The rubbing made tons of noise on a quick 5 minute drive and ended up cracking the paint above the areas it was touching.
Regardless - I would buy any and every $500 hardtop I could get my hands on. I was able to sell mine for $900 within 2 hours of posting it on craigslist. This is a fantastic deal.
Was this a pretty recent bar? I'm wondering if HD has changed the jigs a bit. Heck, they used to sell a Hard Core compatible side latch.
If we are holding it....can it wait till Nov? You know.... challenge time frame, hoping someone can drag it south for me.
Scarr beat me to the idea, so he gets dibs.
I am willing to hold it until November or December as long as it is paid for. SCARR or Spinout send me a PM and we can go from there. Have a couple guys coming to look at it this weekend, so I would like to figure something out before then.

Gonna pass for the moment, SWMBO would kill me after just agreeing to purchase a turbo miata locally last weekend. I was just trying to be an enabler
