I purchased a beat-to-heck 1990 with 135k on the clock with a plan to strip it down to the chassis, seam weld it, and build it back up as an almost brand new car, better than it was off the lot. I thought we had the technology, we can rebuild it. Turns out I misplaced that 1000 hours of spare time I thought I might have. I finally broke down and bought a running '96, so the heap has to go to make space in the garage. My loss can now also be your loss. The Good: Car is basically complete, just in many pieces. Free 1.8 block (with 323 intake/exhaust manifold) and complete '95 wiring harness if you want it (I was planning to upgrade to a 1.8). Car has clean title. No rear quarter panel rust in the typical places. The Bad: Car is basically complete, just in many pieces. There is a rust hole in the floor where the driver's left heel would go. I have a piece of floor out of another Miata that can be cut and welded in. Minor dent in passenger quarter panel and a little wrinkling on driver's front corner. Current engine smoked badly on startup, otherwise ran ok (but you can have the free 1.8...) All this can be yours for the low, low price of $0.00. Yes, I just want the thing gone. I'll help you push. If you play hard ball, I might even buy you some pizza and beer. Just take my car. Please. Car is located in Anacortes, WA, about 2 hours north of Seattle.
