NMNA
Does the half smoked cigarette come with it? Bet it smells great inside.
I've paid $600-800 for similar cars, probably could talk them down. The MKII chassis is the best VW out there IMHO. I've owned 4 of them, from beater DDs to track cars. Good chassis and easy to work on. Some parts are becoming hard to impossible to find though.
Reliable, sprightly, comfy for highway slogs, easy and cheap hop ups/swaps that still keep the car reliable?

Put an F2T in it (with some kind of decent transmission in it ha ha ha)!

Yeah yeah... i'm about to prove to you that one of those transmissions you hate so much is perfectly capable of holding 500ftlbs to the wheels.
But really, i could use a slightly more sane daily beater to use in winter or when i don't feel like getting to work feeling like i've been assaulted.
Looking at NB Miatas, another Cherokee, or a hatchy-wagony thing. Always liked A2 Golfs, didn't know that they were actually decent.

Psst... A mk3 is just a mk2 with rounded corners... Not exact, but basically the same car...
