Guys, tons of stuff has to go. Divorce and subsequent financial distress has forced me to unload everything and downsize drastically. I've already started scrapping stuff but there are things I'd like to see as much of my "collection" put to good use. Prices are negotiable but (gulp) please be gentle.

The list so far..... 1989 Helios Jetta GLi: All the Helios bits are there including wheels. Interior is complete and in good shape. Has H&R springs, new front wheel bearings, recent lower ball joints, recent outer tie rod ends and some other stuff I've forgotten. Last summer, I pulled engine and trans last summer and never installed it. I have ALL the parts to go back into this car including choices of a couple of complete engines sitting on the floor and one bottom end on a stand. I have the title for this car. $900.

Link to my Helios photo album.

1991 Audi 200 Turbo Quattro Avant: Another unfinished project. Was an attempt to come to the challenge in FL. Interior is stripped. Has a MOMO steering wheel. Also have a 5 point harness for the driver's seat. Runs but needs a fuel cell or the gas tank flushed. The pick up on the tank mounted fuel pump keeps clogging. Rides on H&Rs. Has a rare set of Fuch wheels (according to the friend that sold it to me). Also have the original BBS style basketweaves for the car as well. Working to get the title from my friend for this car. $500.

1975 BMW 2002 Stripped for paint but is a complete car. Has some of the patented rust issues. Rocker panels are gone. Driver's floor needs patched/replaced. Previous owner did a 5 speed conversion. It runs beautifully but looks like hell. Previous owner was Helix Minisports in Philly. The car can be seen on this page with their projects in Gulf livery. PO put a Mini resonater with a tip on the back of the car as a muffler. Exhaust note is beautiful!!! Will dig the car out of the garage and get detailed pics up and post a link. I have te correct title for this car. This one is $900 and I'm pretty firm on it (emotional attachment).

1985 Ford Ranger 4X4 5-speed Good beater truck. Has rust issues but none catastrophic at this point. 4x4 works very well. Good tires. Leaks a little oil from valve covers. Doesn't use much oil but I keep on top of it just in case. Installed a new 2 inch receiver hitch. Drives straight down the road and is surprisingly good driving. Noisy as hell but drives well. $800.

Ranger pic.

Parts

BMW 2002 engine and 4 speed transmission. Engine is out of a 68 parts car and, as such, has the 121ti head (higher compression). I have never heard this engine run so its quality is unknown. Make an offer.

Much, much more to add as I dig it out and get images. Email me at bimmerguru at yahoo dot com if you want any further info or images. Will be happy to provide whatever info you want.

Thanks, Jamie

2002 sparked a little interest until I saw the location :(

I'll dig it out of the garage and get pictures. I know I'm too far from you but maybe somebody else can't live without it.

This... Pics show no rust to speak of, is it true underneath as well? 16V car?

In reply to John Brown:

John, there are a couple of small rusty spots on the sheet metal. Beneath the car is surprisingly clean. Yes, it is a 1.8L 16v car. I also have a stack of receipts (not all that cool) and the original window sticker for this car (kinda cool). When I parked and disassembled it, the engine had a bad rod knock. At that time, the AC was working and all the electric windows, etc were working fine. The odometer does not function and the power door locks do not work either. I know, it's a piece of crap. :)

If I had the space and the money I'd take the whole damn collection. You are entirely too close for my own good. And John, yes, it's a 16v car.

Oh God, there's so much more. 02 seats. I have a Malaga colored parts car in the field that is title-less. Wheels. Misc parts. I need to get my ass to work and get an inventory with pictures up here.
