MR2 Track Car in NY CL- $1200

NMNA- can't believe no one brought this one up yet. Thankfully too far away for me Marc in Indy

I've owned an MR2 in Rochester, NY. My first MR2. By the time it was 12 years old, the body dissolved completely, the front fenders were gone, rear quarters had holes, etc. Rust up there doesn't discriminate. You can see that this one hasn't been spared either.

Other than that, it sounds like a screaming deal in just parts. I mean, 6 Minilites, engine, race seat - should be easily worth the asking price.

Looks really clean for an 80s upstate NY Japanese car (kinda confusing). Probably because it became a track car many moos ago so it didn't see many winters. 80s Japanese metal would last 10 years maximum. Hell, I once saw a 5 year old Ford escort blow the rear shock towers right through the hatch.

That must have been a race car for a long time.
