NMNA, I hate them.

If that's as non-rusty as the single picture would seem to indicate, it's a pretty good price. But those fastback/hatchback Mustang II's just look fugly without all the Cobra bodywork on them. I'd rather have a notch.

you are wrong.
Seriously, I like them. (Of course, I thought AMC gremlins rocked.)

How would that be better than working over an XR4Ti? The Type-9 isn't exactly the strongest gearbox out there either...

But it sure is cheaper than buying a custom bell from quads for rods for a T-5.

What are you trying to attach your T-9 to? I have tons of 2.3T parts......... and a bunch of other parts too.

What bellhousing pattern is that? What is it common to?

The Kent/CrossFlow/CVH/SPI/Pinto/Zetec
What bolts to a Zetec can be bolted to a Lima, but not necessarily the other way around.
Notice the two sets of upper bolts holes (chamfered) on this adapter plate. The upper most ones are usually used on the Lima, but the lower set match that of the rest of the older 4 cylinder style. However most of the zetecs here in the USA have a relocated starter, but I'd just put it where the old bellhousings wants it and trim the 'wing' off of the oil pan.
Regarding this picture, it should bolt a Zetec to a T-5 from a v8 mustang. You'd have to figure out the thickness of the plate and do something about the flywheel or clutch or something.
You build an even lower buck bully with it.
